about
This work articulates the auditory experience of the theatre work, Tides in Limbo, which I participated in June of this year. By representing the “live” and its compositions of the play --without movement, without gesture, without lighting -- compositions of the play will be perceived as a part of the auditory events, perceived as a sound object. Indeed, I am struggling on how to choose which perspective on listening this recording: a footprint of my life? a document of this event? an excerpt of Tides in Limbo? a new experimental composition of my creative history? But, for you, it maybe mean nothing.
